Life in a Day was shot around the world on 24th June 2010. I accidentally fell into watching it last night and remained transfixed to the screen for the last twenty minutes or so. The editing is superb, the juxtaposition of scenes and cuts are wonderful, and rather than get upset at some of the more heavily emotional segments, I began to understand just how wonderful and terrible the human condition really is. Being able to capture the good, bad, ugly, terrible, beautiful etc and convey that it is all happening at the same time all over the world has the power to deliver a tremendous dose of perspective.

And deliver it it did.
