Today I created an automation that looks for a labelled message in Gmail, passes the content through to ChatGPT to write a slightly canned response (which is the objective), then emails it back to the sender.
This is based in Google Workspace, were we have access to Gemini, but Gemini couldn’t handle sticking to the boilerplate I provided it, nor couldn’t remember what to do between events.
Feels like it should be easier to use than this!
THe other automation I did involves automating the marketing of my new AI podcast, The Syntellicast.
Once a day this automation looks for a newly published episode, creates a social post from the show notes and description, then posts it to BlueSky via Buffer.
I’d like to post natively to BlueSky, but there’s not a free option yet.
